Littleton School District's

Lakin Prep Academy

Project Overview

64,000 sq/ft

Completed

July 2023

Industry: Education

Set on 21 acres of land, Lakin Prep Academy is Littleton Elementary School District’s (LESD) newest k-8 school.

The project consists of four buildings. Building 100 features a gymnasium with two retractable basketball hoops, bleacher-style seating, a theatrical stage, and a central kitchen. Building 200 is a dedicated classroom building for grades k-5. Building 300 is LHA’s administration building, and Building 400 is another dedicated classroom building for students in grades 6-8.

Despite city permits delaying the start of construction by two months, Canyon State Electric’s strategic planning in the preconstruction phase and design of the underground runs saved the electricians time, allowing the project to finish in time for Lakin Prep’s students to start the school year.
